Weekends results & news
The Ladies 1s were certainly up for the challenge of Bromley and Beckenham on Saturday. Local rivals, a well-drilled team and second in the league but at the same time beatable. The Ladies were currently sitting two places above the drop zone of four teams so the task of attaining any points at any match is very much a necessity!

In hurricane like conditions the Ladies1s battled the first of the two Bedford home games in an attempt to bring home three points on Saturday.

Back in action
After a long break from outdoor hockey and after a difficult end to the first half of the season, the Mens 1st XI played Cambridge City 2s in a bid to regain the top spot in the league. With rival teams playing over the last few weeks, Loughts had games and points to catch up.

Girls colts and ladies training cancelled this evening
Due to the weather conditions and the forecast and based on the fact that last night at 6.30 pm the pitches were unplayable the club is cancelling all outdoor training at the club this evening Wednesday 20th. We are hopeful training will be able to go ahead Thursday evening.

CLUB TEAMS STOP TO PAY THEIR RESPECTS
Adult teams playing at the weekend both home and away held a minute’s silence at the beginning of their matches in memory of Tom Wilson and were very appreciative of all the support shown by their opposing teams
