U12 Boys Purple – Played 5 Won 5 Scored 18 Conceded 0

A great all round team performance, lots of good attacking play, very calm in defence who dealt with danger in a composed fashion. Even our defenders were attacking, Will hit the post, Dexter scored and earned himself a bacon roll as a reward and Sam scored although his brother Leo, our umpire for the day, blew the whistle for full time just before it crossed the line so it didn't count 😢.

Top scorer for the day Theo closely followed by Max and Harrison.  Big thanks to Leo for umpiring.

Sad News

Brian Perks a stalwart of hockey in the East and England for many years passed away on Tuesday.  His funeral will be held at Rushmere Church, Ipswich on Monday 18th November at 12 noon.  Brian held many roles within hockey and was a great ambassador of both the indoor and outdoor game.  He had great knowledge and experience and was respected by all around the world - a true gentleman of the game who will be sadly missed.
