Intra Club Summer League

If you haven’t yet signed up for the Intra club summer league there is still time as the action doesn’t start until 18th June.  Simon Beckley has taken on the team coordination so give him a call on 07790 908131

 

Essex Hockey Development Days - Ages 12 – 16

This year we are holding 3 Development Training days for each age group, you may attend one or two days for your age group. It will be the same training at each session.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS YEARS ESSEX ACADEMY PLAYERS CANNOT ATTEND

The cost is £30  The format will be registration, 1st training session, lunch, 2nd training session & departure

Under 12’s (born 2008) & under 13’s (born 2007) arrive at 10.00, finish 15.00

Under 14’s (born 2006) & under 15’s (born 2005) arrive at 11.30, finish 16.30

Please bring drinks, lunch, sunscreen, shin pads, gum shields, hockey stick and wear hockey kit (not club kit) rain jacket and change of kit

Register all your information including medical details and parental consent and set up a direct debit payment for £30, t-shirt included within the cost.  Email essexhockeyadmin@virginmedia.com to confirm which day/days you are attending & which size t-shirt you require (9-11, 12-13 or small adult) by 21st June 2019 (N.B. late bookers may not get a t-shirt).

 

Summer Camps

Dates for the OLHC Summer Hockey Camps have now been set and they are as follows:  15th & 16th July, 6th & 7th August and 30th August & 2nd September.  To register your interest please email: camps@oldloughtonians.co.uk  

 

FIH Pro League Update

Despite gaining two points from Australia Great Britain Men remain 6th in the FIH Pro League standings while our women remain 7th. 

After losing 3-1 to Great Britain at home, the Netherlands will be out for revenge when they come to London for the return fixture on Friday 14 June.

Could you sponsor or support Old Loughtonians Hockey Club?

It is important that the club continues to attract additional support and sponsorship. We welcome all levels of support (including another major sponsor alongside the Higgins Group) and potential bespoke packages are available to interested parties. Support and sponsorship can range from pitchside boards (on either of our pitches) to individual team deals. We welcome local sponsors in particular as well as national and international sponsors especially those with an interest in hockey.

Members introducing sponsors to the club (or sponsoring players or the club themselves) will benefit from free annual membership themselves. Please contact our chairman (chairperson@oldloughtonians.co.uk) or the club office (olhc@oldloughtonians.co.uk) for more information or with any proposal.
