Old Loughtonians Ladies 1s maintained their 100% start to the season with a deserved 2-0 victory in a local derby against Crostyx at Lee Valley. Full report click here
Fantastic new initiative to help women participate in sport
The Management Committee has been looking at how to increase participation in women's hockey at Loughts. A recurring factor that prevents many women from returning to sport after having children is flexible childcare. Having considered this, we are piloting a scheme in conjunction with Sims Nursery which is now on site week days. The Nursery will be providing for home matches, a creche for those members of the Ladies 1st team who require it. If this is successful we hope to role this out across the club next season. This is a ground breaking initiative which we hope will benefit players and the Club.

Half Term Hockey Camp
