U16 Boys

Last week the U16 boys went to Reading and came away with a convincing win to earn them a place at the Mercian League Finals Day on 29th April which is being held here at Luxborough Lane.

To make things interesting they will be playing Surbiton who are the England Hockey age group Champions - a title they won at the weekend where our boys finished in fourth place. This will be a truly competitive game and will be worth coming to watch as the skill level from both sides exceptional.

Redbridge Local Safeguarding Children Board are offering the following course to all members:

‘Managing Allegations Against Staff and Volunteers’ on 24th April 2018.  Recent media coverage has highlighted the importance of an organisational culture of transparency and rigorous policies and procedures in safeguarding vulnerable service users.  This course, facilitated by Helen Curtis, LBR’s Local Authority Designated Officer, will be useful for Designated Safeguarding Leads, managers and supervisors as part of their safeguarding responsibilities.  Interested participants can reserve a place here.
