Reminder
If you are not going to stay for tea please let your captain know as they need to notify Louisa – the Clubs Catering Manager – to avoid unnecessary waste and expense. Captains also need to speak with Louisa if the game is cancelled or if the opposition has decided not to stay. Her number is 07882 047229. The kitchen stops serving food at 18:00 unless other arrangements have been made!
A request from Harriet (Ladies 3s Captain)
I work in a night shelter for the homeless and we are looking for donations. Single bedding, duvet covers, fitted sheets, pillow cases, towels all sizes, flannels, tea towels and aprons. Also as winter is coming any clothing, socks coats scarfs etc. would be really appreciated.
Any donations no matter how small, second hand or new, will be gratefully received.
Thank you
Personal protective equipment
All players are reminded that they are responsible for their own protective equipment - the basics of which are gum shield and shin pads. These should be worn at training as well as during matches!
It is now common for players to wear a strong left hand protective glove (as low defensive positions in tackling and intercepting become common) and players should consider this.
Face masks and penalty corner protective equipment.
The club does not commit to provide face masks, knee guards or any other protective equipment used when facing a penalty corner. Any equipment teams have, is organised informally between groups of players but this should not be relied upon.
Items for HH to office by Monday 10am please
