Pitch-side Advertising
The Club currently have opportunities for anyone wishing to purchase advertising space pitch-side. During the course of a year 1000s of people come to Luxborough Lane. Over a typical weekend more than 500 people will visit the club including players, officials and spectators. During the week pitches are used not only by club members but also by local schools and community groups. The club house is available and is used for private functions and the meeting rooms are hired to outside organisations. Match reports and pictures are regularly featured in local newspapers and of course on the club website. With prices starting at £500 a year this represents exceptional value for money for anyone wanting to raise their business profile. For further details please contact Jo in the Club office.
Preseason Get Together
A pre-season hockey get together has been organised for Sunday 6th August. This will involve the Supervets, the Loppers, the A2’s and the Willows - the new team set up by Simon Beckley.
This will be a great opportunity to get together for some friendly hockey and introductions before the new season.

Women’s World Cup 2018 Tickets
Don’t miss the Hockey Women’s World Cup 2018 ballot which opens on the 19th August. If you want to get hold of those MUST HAVE England tickets it is an absolute must to register. The start of the World Cup is less than 12 months away. Pre-register now using the following link:
Essex Hockey
Essex Coaching and Youth invite coaches, Level one, Level two, Level three, Sessional Coaches, Young Leaders and Managers, to join their academy coaching teams. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and enable you to improve your skills and coaching knowledge.
The Essex Academy has venues at Redbridge and Chelmsford. Training sessions, East Region Leagues and Festivals for players 13 to 17 years will run from September to April. If you are interested and would like more information, please contact:

Preseason Training Ladies 1’s
Ladies 1s will start preseason training on Wednesday 2nd August and fitness on Monday 7th August. Please make every effort to be there as these sessions are important for the season ahead.
A friendly game has been arranged for Monday 4th September against Wapping.
EHUA Annual Subscription
For those of you who haven’t already done so can you please let myself or the new club ULO – Ian Padfield (ian@wealdhallfarm.com ) know if you are willing and able to umpire for the Club for the 2017/18 season by 31st August.
