End of Season Dinner
With five days to go until the end of season dinner the final preparations are being made. The marquee is up, the food is ordered and the table plan is set. To help things run smoothly on the night can you please pay for your wine at the bar when you arrive so it can be delivered to your table before the food is served.
The Raffle
This year we have decided to give the raffle a new lease of life!
Instead of coming up and choosing a prize, when your number is called, please come up to the table and pick a balloon. Take the balloon back to your table and read the instructions on the tag fastened to it. Your prize is written on a slip inside.
In order for the raffle to run as quickly and smoothly as possible, you will not need to pick the next number as this will be done by one of the team. Just collect your balloon, go back to your table and enjoy!
After dinner, please find either Trilbie, Lynsey, Debra or Julie to claim your raffle and/or auction prize.
Rearranged fixtures:
Saturday 21st April
Home 11:15 Willows v Southgate
13:00 Supervets v Indian Gymkhana
Data Protection
As you are probably aware the data protection laws are changing with effect from 25th May 2018.
The General Data Protection Regulations ("GDPR") are intended to ensure that organisations do not keep more personal information than they need in accordance with their privacy policies. From a practical perspective it means that every organisation not only needs to check that its information is up to date but it also needs to ask every contact for specific consent to continue to receive communications.
If you want to continue to receive Hockey Headlines and other messages from the club then you must give your consent. Otherwise we will have to remove your data from all our distribution lists.
Please click this link https://s.surveyplanet.com/B1j7RrAoG to give or decline your consent. It should take under 30 seconds to complete and you cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
This applies whether or not you are currently a member of the club. Your membership status is unaffected but we will not be able to send you messages (other than asking you to renew in September) without your express consent.
Thanks
Jo Davey
100 Days to Go
Last Thursday over 100 schoolchildren gathered at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in East London to celebrate 100-days to go until the start of the Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup 2018. They were joined by four Olympic Gold Medallists –Shona McCallin, Nicola White, Hannah MacLeod and Georgie Twigg – who were part of the triumphant Great Britain hockey team at Rio 2016.
