Tom Wilson Memorial Day
This year's Tom Wilson Memorial Tournament will be on 23rd June 2018 starting at 2pm.
Representatives from the M1s, Nottingham Trent University, Havering Hockey Club and Coopers Coburn School will be playing throughout the day. Please do come along to watch the matches, enjoy the day and support the Tom Wilson Fund.
OLHC Summer Hockey Camp
OLs will be running a one day hockey camp on Tuesday 17th July and a three day camp between 24th – 26th July. For further details and to register your interest please email camps@oldloughtonians.co.uk
Coach Induction
John Wright (Mini Head Coach) and Mike Williamson (Director of Coaching) will be holding an introduction to coaching session on Saturday 1st September 09:00 to 12:30 for anyone who wishes to help with the mini section this year. Epping Forest District Council are running the following training courses which may be of interest to coaches and volunteers.
18th July 6:30pm – 9:30pm - Safeguarding and protecting children £30
19th September 6:30pm – 9:30pm - Safeguarding and protecting children £30
23rd October 6:30pm – 9:30pm - Emergency First Aid £25
15th & 16th Nov 9:30am – 4:30pm (both days) - Paediatric First Aid £60

Women’s World Cup Tickets
I bought 6 tickets (2 adults, 4 children) for the semi-finals of the Women’s World Cup on Saturday 4th August but we are now not able to make it. If anyone is interested in buying these tickets please contact Josefine on 077 24 186955. The tickets have a face value of £220 but reasonable offers will be considered.
Comrades
Congratulations to Lisa Posnett, her mother Elsa, brother John and his girlfriend Natasha who all completed the 90.2 km Comrades ultra- marathon which finished in Durban on Sunday. The race started at 5.30am and Lisa completed the 56.4 miles in 11 hours and 38 minutes.
