Social Hockey
This Thursday (30th August) will see the final Social Hockey session of the summer. Normal time 8pm.
Many thanks to James Browne for guiding the last two weeks - many people found his insights and explanations very useful. This coming Thursday will be a relaxed open knockabout session without any workshop or formal coaching.
The following Thursday (6th September) will be the first Lower Men's team training session with Chris Gladman.
Wilson Memorial Fun Day
Havering Hockey Club would like to invite all members of Old Loughtonians Hockey Club to the Wilson Memorial Fun Day on Sunday 16th September 2018.
Similar to the memorial games in June they are organising the event in memory of their former President Graham 'G' Wilson and Tom.
The Wilson Memorial Fun Day will take place at Campion School with the main event of the day being the Wilson Memorial 5k run (this year with an added assault course option) which will begin at 13:00. Entrance to the run will be £5 with all money raised going to the Tom Wilson Memorial Fund.
Throughout the day there will be food and drink sold in the sixth form block as well as a licensed bar area and games, obstacles and inflatables on the school field.
There will be some hockey on show as well with minis in the morning and a mixed game planned in the afternoon, they can’t promise anything in the way of standard just people who wish to pay their respects.
FIH Pro League
Great Britain will play 16 matches of live, action-packed international hockey right here in London at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre. Back the Brits as they face the greatest hockey nations from around the globe. To find out more and to enter the ticket ballot click here
