Loughts kept calm and continued to move the ball with speed before a complete toe-end from James Hodge allowed young Max Garner to deflect in his first ever National League goal.

 

U12 Girls

U12 Girls had a super day at Old Southendians beating Southend and Benfleet 1-0 and very close to beating all the other opponents but for some fine Goalkeeping and last ditch defending. 

Plenty of work to do on our shooting and goal scoring but we had a really fun day.  Particularly impressive debut game by Georgia and all of the team played really well

Exciting  Opportunity 

Fancy a go at coordinating (with help from a committee) Fun in the Forest, one of Loughts' most fun events of the year? 

I have done it for the last 3 years, but would really like to step back this time. Of course I would be more than willing to give any help/advice/provide list of what needs to be done when/contacts from anyone willing to step up. This year, the event, which is essentially a fun hockey festival running over the May bank holiday weekend, raised over £7,000 for the club, and is enjoyed by many Loughts players as well as teams from other parts of the country.
